U11 boys white team
Well done to our u11 boys white squad today, putting in a great effort against Cappamore to finish up the season. The boys have put in a great effort in both training and matches and we have seen a massive improvement as the season has progressed. We hope to see all the boys back again next September for another season. Enjoy the summer break and keep practicing
U11 boys Red team
Very well done to our u11 boys Red team on a great season. The boys played Ballylanders on Saturday and put in a first class performance in their final game. A big thank you to Cathy and the coaches Mike, Tomaz, Ayman and manager Shane for all their time at training and matches this season. A big thank you to Shane for organising the trainings and matches for all the u11 teams this season, your support has been fantastic this season. Have a great summer boys.
U9 boys academy
Our U9 boys finished up on Friday night, A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers Juliet, George, Daniel, Dean and Stephen we really appreciate the time you have all given at both training and matches. We wish you all a great summer and keep practicing at home boys.
U8 boys academy
A lovely end to the u8 boys academy season on Friday night. A big thank you to Brian, Sean, Feargus and Liam for their time coaching these magnificent bunch of boys since last September. Enjoy the summer break and keep practicing boys.
U7 boys academy
Our u7 boys academy finished their season with us on Friday night. The boys have been brilliant to work with all year. We have seen a massive improvement in their skill levels since the beginning of the season. A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers Brian, Liam, John and Pat, again without your support lads we would not have been able to run the academy so thank you for the support, its very much appreciated. We wish you all a great summer and keep practicing at home boys, see you all again in September
U6 boys academy
The youngest group in our boys academy finished their first season with us on Friday night. The boys have been brilliant to work with all year. We have seen a massive improvement in their skill levels since the beginning of the season. A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers who have been with the boys week since last September in all weather conditions. We couldn’t have run the academy without your help so thank you Stephen Tuohy, Stephen Dennehy and Clodagh Buckley. we really appreciate the time you have all given at both training and matches this season. We wish you all a great summer and keep practicing at home boys, see you all again in September
Congratulations to Limerick Desmond u11 boys on winning the Tim Fitzgerald memorial perpetual shield. A big thank you to Mike Hurley, a good friend of Tim Fitzgerald and Charleville AFC for organising and coordinating everything by himself today. We were honoured to have Tim’s mother Josie and sister Vera present on such a fine day to make the presentation of medals and the shield to a joyous bunch of boys from the Desmond League. Thank you to the West Cork league for also travelling for the tournament.

Charleville AFC Lotto is the main fundraiser for completing phase 2 of the tarmac driveway project at Tim Fitzgerald Park. We really appreciate all the support we have received to date.
