*St Patrick’s Day*
What an absolute bunch of Superstars we had representing the club to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with their friends and teammates. Nearly 100 boys and girls turned up to march behind our club flag in the local parade, just outstanding. They all did our Club, their parents and themselves proud! Absolute legends. A massive thank you to our coaches and parents who walked with the players, fantastic support as always when needed. A big thank you to Breeda, Clodagh and Caoimhe for putting all the treats together for the boys and girls which very quickly disappeared at the finish.

*Limerick Desmond Ladies League*
Charleville 1 Abbeyfeale 1 scorer Sophie Hudner 55 minutes
Charleville looked to close the gap to league leaders Ballingarry with their final few games to keep the league title hopes alive and no better way than a home game versus the team at the bottom of the league. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be the 3 points Charleville were expecting when a solid and very organised Abbeyfeale team turned up. Player of the match performance by their goalkeeper also helped them with some superb saves throughout the match to deny Charleville. Abbeyfeale picked up there goal midway through the first half from a deflected throw in that dropped to the lone striker who slotted home easily from ten yards and that was the difference at the break.
Charleville had numerous chances throughout but just weren’t clinical enough to see the game. A trickled effort from striker Sophie Hudner was enough to get an equaliser and share of the spoils with 25 minutes to go. But two late efforts from Charleville off either side of post nearly Sent the home team celebrating but it just wasn’t to be. A justified point for a hard working second half but credit to a solid Abbeyfeale for a fine game. Two games remain in a quest for league title with 6 points off the top. All to play for.
