*13th November * *U12 Girls Division 1*
Our girls were in action for the third time of their season on Sunday. They played Holycross B, Limerick in Holycross. With 15 girls in attendance for this game, our panel was strong at all times with plenty rolling on and off of substitutes throughout the game. Charleville started well and half way through the first half, Lauren Finucane got on the ball and struck for an unstoppable goal. Charleville were unlucky not to have another one or two goals in the remainder of the first half having majority possession. The second half opened up with Holycross scoring two goals within the middle section of the second half. Charleville didn’t give up and kept working the ball into the forward line where Abbey Herlihy, Áine Mulcahy and Emily Barrett were just at the wrong side of the net on each occasion. Our Charleville girls never gave up and continued to try and get the ball down to their forward line and unfortunately, time just ran out and the girls were unlucky to lose 2-1. Brilliant effort by everyone and the girls look forward to their next league game.
