A good news story for the community and our Charleville AFC club members.
Charleville AFC are delighted to announce as one of the first clubs in Ireland to be selected by the Mrs Brown’s Boys / FAI in the Community Heart Programme your local Club Charleville AFC will acquire a 2nd Defibrillator for your club.

Following a review of existing locations of defibrillators in the community, Charleville AFC Club committee have decided this defibrillator would benefit our members and community best if it was located at our soccer pitch in Charleville town park. In this location it would be in close proximity to 3 local schools, St Mary’s, St Anne’s and St Joseph’s, the local playground, the scouts hall, many private residences and to our pitch. As we already have a defibrillator at our Limerick road grounds in Tim Fitzgerald Park, we wish to donate this defibrillator to the Charleville Community by placing it in the Town Park for all to access.

As a proud FAI Club Mark Club we have been selected to take part in the Mrs Brown’s Boys FAI Heart Care Programme and the value of this package is €3,645, we will get a new defibrillator as long as we fundraise €1,250. So to all our supporters and friends of our Club, if you wish to donate to our fundraising page it would be greatly appreciated. To donate please click on the link below.
