Charleville AFC are this morning delighted to announce Adam Castle will continue in his role as Charleville AFC 1st team manager for the 2022/23 season. Along with Adam we are delighted to say his right hand man Darren Hedderman has also committed for another season.
Speaking this week on his role Adam said “Darren and I are really looking forward to getting started on preparations for the new season back in the Premier division, we know that its going to be a big step up for all of us at the club but we have to strive to be the best we can be and embrace the challenge that’s ahead of us.
We have a young squad with many players that have never played at the highest level of football in the Limerick District, but we have no worries that the lads won’t be able to match each and every team with commitment, honesty and work rate which will be the absolute minimum Darren and I will be demanding.
It’s our intention to add to the management team before pre-season, and we are in discussions with a number of new players which will add healthy competition to an already competitive squad.
Training commences on Monday 4th July at 7:30pm in the Town Park pitch, all old and new players are very welcome, our league season starts on Thursday 18th August and it would be great to see an increase in support for the 2022/23 season
From the club committees point of view Adam is a highly experienced, motivated and successful manager. As we have seen during his time with Charleville AFC his management style, organisation and presentation of the teams that he has managed is first rate. We are delighted to be able to keep Adam and Darren involved with Charleville AFC and provide continuity with the men’s first team management for another season.
We hope that over time we can build a side that is capable of competing with the best in the Premier division and also to give the town a football team they can be proud of and enjoy watching. We look forward to seeing our supporters coming out to enjoy top level matches for the 2022/23 season.
