Scorers were Finn/Harry/Bobby and Muiris.
Last Saturday we travelled to Herbertstown to play in the first round of the cup.
To be fair to the lads, in terrible conditions for a match ,they played superbly. With heavy rain and hail showers the boys still put in a great effort and won comfortably in the end. Shane was as safe as houses in goals. Because we were missing a few players at the start Fionn had to start right back and played really well. Padraig and Muiris were rock solid .Harry, Ben, and Finn were in total control in midfield and playing some really good football. Bobby and Rory upfront worked their socks off.
Fair play to Marko and Claude who arrived late after playing a hurling match and came on to help us see out the game.
We are now through to meet Kilmallock in the semi final. The lads are top of the league with only a few games left and now in the semi final of the cup.
