We hosted Kilmallock in a Cup Quarter final draw Saturday last. The match started well for us, with good control of the play. The ball was being well distributed by all the players, and before long we had the opening goal with a great string of passes that finally saw Kaua Alves put the ball into the net. Not long after that Kilmallock equalised, ending the half even at 1-1.
The second half did not work in our favour. At times the boys were involved in some good build up play, but we lost possession and control of the midfield too often. The boys were disappointed with the result, but that as they say is Football. Well done for the effort put in, and we look forward to our next match.
