Charleville AFC were delighted to be able to help CBS Charleville and St Mary’s Charleville in providing a safe location for the students to take part in a road safety demonstration this week. Well done to all the organisers ๐
Senior students from CBS Charleville and St Mary’s Secondary School, Charleville got a great insight into road safety today as part of our Road Safety Workshop .
The workshop encouraged students to think before they make decisions around road safety, the effects of a road traffic accident on the community & families and we examined the major causes of road accidents e.g. not wearing seat belts , speed and driver distraction.
To finish we attended a crash demonstration and local Garda Nick Phelan addressed all students about the effects of driving under the influence and drink and drug testing .
Special thanks to the following for facilitating this event ๐๐๐
