Super result and victory away to Murroe as Charleville U13 go 2nd in the Premier League Table

U13 Boys Premier League result
Murroe 1 Charleville AFC 3

Last Saturday morning, Charleville U13s were involved in an intense battle against a young spirited Murroe side.

Charleville did not start well, and Murroe dictated the early pace and were unlucky not to be ahead before a good ball over the top found Nathaniel in the clear and he duly netted home to put Charleville ahead. Shortly afterwards Murroe got the equaliser, when an in swinging cross from the right found his partner alone on the far post and he slotted home to level the fixture.

In the second half Charleville changed to a 4:4:2 formation and gradually began to get command in the game. Gary McAuliffe got a superb 2nd goal for Charleville half way through the 2nd half with a tremendous strike from 25 yards out. Shortly afterwards Nathaniel was brought down in the box and Jamie O’Toole scored the follow up penalty.

And so the game finished with Charleville winning 2-1 away from home.
