Tralee Dynamos A 6 Charleville AFC B 1
It was a great performance from our boys against very strong opposition and all in attendance were entertained by a fantastic end to end encounter with the final score line of 6-1 to the hosts a generous one considering the magnificent performance by our boys.
It took the lads a while to settle and we conceded a goal in the opening minute and another mid way through the first half. Charleville settled more and more into the game and a wonder strike from Daniel Flos pulled a goal back and we were unlucky not to score a second with the post coming to Dynamos rescue before half time.
Tralee were more dominant in the second half and the Tralee number 10 came into his own with some exceptional attacking play. The game continued to ebb and flow and the goals just wouldn’t go in for us. As we told the lads they can all be very proud of the way they represented the club. National cup games are often special occasions and this was such an occasion with such a high quality game. Thanks to Tralee Dynamos for making us all very welcome on the day.
