Last Saturday morning, Charleville U13s faced a difficult bruising encounter away to a resilient Kilmallock team. Charleville started brightly and were pressing up high not allowing Kilmallock to move out easily from defence; as the first half progressed it was clear that both teams were finding it difficult to create gaps behind either defence. Kilmallock got a breakthrough midway through the 2nd half and went 1-0 up Charlevillle persevered in earnest and responded well to challenge with both Nathaniel and Gary McAuliffe both very unlucky not to score Overall it was a very good game with very little between both sides and a great match in preparing for our next National Cup Fixture in 2 weeks time away to Camp Junior
