Charleville made it 3 wins in 3 beating Kilmallock on Saturday, it was a complete squad effort with all 16 available playing & contributing to the win.
Kilmallock started the game in a real determined fashion and deservedly took the lead.
Xavier Nelligan equalised shortly afterwards following the assist from Nathaniel Methumbu. Kilmallock kept up the pressure and went back in the lead, to be cancelled out following a long range effort from Cian Finucane, Cian made it 3-2, just before half time, with a converted free kick from just outside the box.
The Charleville boys really stepped up the tempo in the 2nd half and kept Kilmallock in their own half, a fourth shortly followed by Josh McGloughlin following a great assist by Evan O’Riordan.
Josh then made it 5 & Cian completed his hat trick shortly afterwards from the penalty spot.
Dara O’Sullivan finished off the scoring , netting his 2nd of the season following great work from Jamie O’Toole.
Alex Kennedy was his usual calm presence in goals, ably assisted by Daire Mc Kenna, Tiernan Walsh & Eoin Horan.
Daniel Mackissey put in a man of the match display at right full, with his work rate and passing.
Ben Ross, worked hard for the group throughout and was unlucky to not get on the scoresheet.
Evan O’Brien & Oisin Curley & Leon Reidy put in a shift for the team, while on the pitch.
