An injury time equaliser from Fairview was all that stopped Charleville AFC returning from the league leaders with all 3 points last Saturday evening.
Charleville were on the front foot from the start, with forwards Dillon and Gustavo causing the Fariview defence all sorts of problems, and it was Shane Dillon who grabbed his first of the game beating the keeper on the 20 minute mark. The game was being played at a fast pace with both sides searching for the next goal. Just before half time the home side drew level scoring from close range after the Charleville defence failed to get a free kick clear.
The 2nd half saw Charleville well on top and Dillon scoring again after great work from his strike partner Gustavo and midfield man Joe Kavanagh
Fairview threw men forward and grabbed a late equaliser in the 3rd minute of time added on with a fine strike from distance.
