On a wet morning Charleville Ladies suffered defeat to a very strong Abbeyfeale team away from home. The game was 50/50 up until midway in the first half when abbeyfeale were able to break the deadlock. Abbeyfeale hit 3 more before the break, while Charleville were able to claw one back after capitalising on a defensive mistake by Abbeyfeale and Beth Stapleton half volleyed home from 20 yards.
The second half was stronger by Charleville, but as the legs got tired Abbeyfeale knocked two more goals in to tie up the game.
