Our youth team had an easier than expected win over Pallas Utd last Sunday evening. Star of the show was Dion Curtin who helped himself to 4 goals all before half time even. His first was a crisp finish after a few mins and after 10 he had his second after great play from Cody Kok on the wing. Matt McCormack made it 3 after great play between Cody Kok, Dion Curtin, Ewan and Aaron Moffatt who played a beautiful first time ball through for Matt to Finish. Dion had a bullet header to make it 4 from an Adam O Connor cross and a through ball from Matt McCormack saw Dion finish and make it before half time. Despite the scoreline Pallas tried right to the very end and made it very tough all the way through. Darragh McDonagh turned brilliantly to make it 6 and Kian Smith hit a rocket of a free kick into the top corner for goal number 7. Darragh Mcdonagh completed the scoring for the boys to advance where they will host top side Fairview Rangers in the coming weeks.
