New junior 2021/22 season
Best wishes to Adam Castle, Darren Hedderman and the entire 1st team squad as the new junior 2021/22 season begins on Thursday Aug 12th. Our first team will compete in the Premier A League, they are a young and ambitious group who I’m sure will want to be involved in the hunt for silverware this season. It’s been a long absence of football due to covid and it’s great for the players and everyone in the club to finally have the games back again. The lads have been working hard in training with Adam and Darren for the last number of weeks and we wish them the very best of luck. Their first match is away v Newport Town with kick off at 6.30pm and all support would be appreciated.
Our 2nd junior team this season will compete in Div 1B and will be managed by Kevin Buckley, Dave Shanahan and Alan McCourt. They have been very busy putting a squad together for the last month and are looking forward to their first matches of the season with home fixtures on Friday 13th v Glenview Rvs and again on Tuesday 17th V Mungret Reg. We wish the management and players the very best of luck for the season ahead.
Our u18 and u17 squads will be managed by the highly experienced duo of Paul Moffat and Mikey Curtin, two men who have been around the club both playing and managing our club teams for a long time. These young players couldn’t be in better hands for the season ahead. Our u17s first fixture will be on Thursday Aug 19th in Div Three away to Cappamore with kick off at 6.30pm, again we wish the management and players the very best of luck for the season ahead.
