U8 Boy’s end of season
Great dedication from this age group all season when not in lockdown and great credit must go to their coaches Roy Finucane and Claude Keane. I think here is the perfect example of where the coaches get just as much enjoyment from coaching as the kids who attend the U8 academy. 2 adults who joined the club at different times in the past when asked by the club to help out and both stepped up. You can genuinely see the enjoyment they get each week working with the kids and getting creative in the academy. The U8 boys have been great to watch as they work on their skills and learning to work as a team. Such a polite and well mannered bunch of boys who are a real credit to their families. Thanks to our coaches and the players for their time and dedication during this covid season. The future of the club is bright with this bunch. Thanks to everyone for following the covid procedures all year, thank you to our covid officers Lisa O’Keefe & Sandra Boyle. for carrying out the covid duties each week, it is very much appreciated. Have a great summer everyone, enjoy the break and we will see you all in September when the boys will make the jump up to the u10 boys county non competitive leagues when they will go out and start playing matches against other clubs. Thanks to Roy for organising ice creams for all the boys.
